  • Cordyceps might improve immunity by stimulating cells and specific chemicals in the immune system. It might also help fight cancer cells and shrink tumor size, particularly with lung or skin cancers.

Maitake mushroom is rich in bioactive polysaccharides, especially D-fraction, MD-fraction, and SX-fraction. These protein polysaccharides have well-documented immune-protecting and antitumor properties.

In addition, maitake can provide health benefits such as:

    Heart Health

Beta glucan in maitake can help reduce your cholesterol, improving artery functionality and overall cardiovascular health to lower your risk for heart disease. The polysaccharides in maitake can reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol without affecting your triglyceride or HDL (good) cholesterol levels.

Reishi mushroom has been used to help enhance the immune system, reduce stress, improve sleep, and lessen fatigue.

Chaga mushrooms began attracting attention over the past few decades due to their health benefits. Some early animal and lab studies on chaga mushrooms have shown promising results for strengthening the immune system and fighting cancer, among others.

Oregano contains chemicals that might help reduce cough. Oregano also might help with digestion and with fighting against some bacteria and viruses.

Research on possible health benefits of grape seed extract is in its early stages and there is not enough information to know whether it has any long-term benefits.

Heart health. There is very limited evidence to suggest that antioxidants in grape seed extract may help maintain healthy blood pressure and improve circulation.

But grape seed extract can also interact with other vitamins and medications to cause high blood pressure. In addition, grape seed extract can have a blood-thinning effect, so you should speak with your doctor if you take any blood-thinning medications.
